Public spirit of Guyanese stands out in the elections

The first official partial results of the General Elections in Guyana, which are based on the first 2000 votes confirmed, reveals that A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) is ahead with 1087 votes, meanwhile the party of the government (PPP) has 870. The other two parties have very few voters. The UNASUR Support Mission is highlightig that, eventhough the Guyanese electoral process is entirely manual, it has been impeccable so far and, overall, the citizens show great trust in regard to it. teleSUR
